Colwyn Bay Football Club are delighted to confirm the appointment of Mike Wilde as the club’s Director of Football on a five-year-deal.
Wilde, who enjoyed a successful playing career both in England and the Welsh Premier League, took the reigns as Manager at The Blue Turtle Arena last season, guiding the club to promotion to the JD Cymru Premier before going on to secure a top-six-finish in phase one this year, giving Colwyn Bay an opportunity to push for European football.
Wilde moves into his new role from his position within the Steven Gerrard Academy on a five-year-deal and shall combine his Director of Football responsibilities with that of First Team Manager whilst establishing the club’s footballing infrastructure.
