He has a fetish for centre mids out wide.
He had Carsley playing there when he first came in.
Osman, Arteta, Rodwell played there for a bit as well and I’m sure there’s more. Feel like graveson played there, he probably put li tie out wide for a bit as well.
Since he’s came here we’ve had garner, Alcaraz, KDH and Armstrong out wide.
Oh fucking Rohl as well.
And the centre halves at full at full back. The lack of pace and width is such an issue.
Armstrong actually did well when he came on which makes you wonder how good he could have looked in his actual position with an actual winger to play off.
