Supporter Info: Hearts (A)
Hibs supporters making the short journey across the city for our William Hill Premiership match against Hearts are asked to note the following information before travelling.
With the game kicking off at 8pm, turnstiles will open at 7pm and you are advised to arrive early to avoid any queues at the turnstiles.
TICKETING
With the match a sell-out, supporters not in possession of a valid ticket should not travel to the Tynecastle or the surrounding area.
PERSONAL SEARCHES
Hibernian ticket holders are asked to approach the stadium, if possible, from the Roseburn and Russell Road side of the stadium.
As the turnstiles become busier supporters will be guided to the turnstiles in groups to create a more controlled and quicker flow through the turnstiles for supporters. Please be patient.
Supporters will be subject to ticket checks and searches before being guided to the turnstiles. You are asked to co-operate fully with police and stewards in this process.
SEGREGATION
Segregation will be in place in McLeod Street after the match and Hibernian supporters are advised to disperse towards the Roseburn area for routes to home and back into the City Centre after the match.
TRAVEL
There are several roadworks across the city that may impact your travel to Tynecastle. Please note the road network around the west of Edinburgh will be busy for the long-term road closure of Chesser to Balgreen. You are advised to give ample travel time for your journey.
Trams are operating at regular intervals. Murrayfield Stadium is the best stop for Hibernian supporters heading to Tynecastle Park. Passengers should then walk towards Roseburn Street and Russell Road and onto the Tynecastle Park. UNACCEPTABLE CONDUCT
We ask you to think about your actions before, during and after the match.
We remind all supporters that unacceptable conduct will not be tolerated, anyone caught in possession of pyrotechnics, throwing objects, causing damage, entering the trackside or field of play, or bringing in bottles/cans into the stadium can expect action to be taken.
The Club will continue to support the actions of Police Scotland and the courts in acting against anyone detected carrying out a breach of the Ground Regulations or being involved in unacceptable conduct. Regardless, if we are home or away, sanctions against any breach may result in the individual facing an indefinite Club Ban, a Football Banning Order or, as we have seen elsewhere recently, a custodial sentence. Please don’t be that person!
Walkways should be kept clear, and if seated in the stand you are asked to take up your designated seat while watching the match. This is not only a ground regulations requirement but also in the interest of the safety of all members of the public.
Football is a place where families come together to support their team and Hibernian Football Club prides itself in being a Club for everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, colour, disability, gender, religion, creed, and sexual orientation. Please help us keep it this way.
Finally, please listen to and follow instructions given by Police Scotland, stewards and club officials over the PA System before, during and after the match.
