Team News: Motherwell (H)

Joelle Murray makes four changes to the Hibernian Women starting XI from last weekend’s Sky Sports Cup Semi-Final ahead of today’s ScottishPower Women’s Premier League meeting with Motherwell.

The Hibees, heading into our final home fixture before the split, are looking to make it two wins from two in the league following our 5-0 win over Hamilton Academical a fortnight ago.

The first alteration occurs in defence as Stacey Papadopoulos replaces Lauren Doran-Barr. The Greece international makes her first start of 2026 in the process.

Scarlett Herron, Ellis Notley and Rachael Boyle remain in defensive roles, while Noa Schumacher keeps her place in goal.

A second switch sees Kirsten Reilly make way for Irish midfielder Jess Fitzgerald, while Kirsty Morrison fills in for Tegan Bowie on the wing for our third change.

Ciara Grant, Rosie Livingstone and Kathleen McGovern all start once more as our fourth and final change sees Hannah Jordan replace Eilidh Adams.

The outgoing Doran-Barr and Bowie are both named on the bench alongside goalkeeper Rowena Armitage, as well as Milly Boughton and Linzi Taylor – who both are looking to gain minutes following recent injuries.

Our final listed substitutes are NextGen Academy duo Lucy Stevenson and Olivia Cornet – with the latter making her professional debut against Hamilton.

Reilly is unavailable as she completes her league suspension while Siobhan Hunter and Adams both miss out precautionary through knocks.

Caley Gibb and Tiree Burchill also remain out but are getting closer to an on-pitch return following positive steps in their recoveries.

Young midfielder Jess Ramsay does not feature due to her involvement in the MIMA Cup with Scotland U17s.
