The case for Kyogo
Ok, he’s missed more than a few.
However he has been forced to play deep with his back to the goal more often than not due to our possession based slow build up, or running around a lot pressing.
I don’t believe either of these are his strengths. I’ve often said on here that the vast majority of his Celtic goals were the result of quick attacking wing play and him being rapid over a few yards finding space in the box, getting to the ball first across his defender and instinctive finishing from a few yards out from crosses from wide.
Now we’ve got Vicente and Osman to provide this service it could be the making of him (or the final nail in his coffin here)
It’s worth a punt imo to start him as a number nine, especially at home.
