Junior Hoilett Departs Hibs

0 1

We can confirm that Junior Hoilett has departed Hibernian FC and will join English League Two side, Swindon Town.

With the 2026 FIFA World Cup coming up, the Canada international wished to explore his options in pursuit of regular first team football; therefore we have agreed a deal with the 35-year-old to allow him to make the permanent move to Swindon Town.

Hoilett joined the Hibees in August 2024 and went on to make 53 appearances in green and white across all competitions, contributing seven goals and six assists.

Everyone at Hibernian FC wishes Junior the very best of luck with the next step in his career.

On Hoilett’s departure, Hibernian FC Head Coach David Gray commented: “Junior has been an incredible professional, a real leader and role model for everyone, both on and off the pitch.

"I would like to thank him for his time here at Hibs. He has been a privilege to coach and work with every day, and I wish him all the very best for the future and the next step in his career."
