Hiljemark arrives to take over at Pisa from sacked Gilardino
Oscar Hiljemark has arrived on Italian soil, as the Elfsborg coach is ready to take over at Pisa from sacked Alberto Gilardino.
Sky Sport Italia had footage of the tactician landing at the airport in Bologna, where he will now travel to Pisa by car for the final negotiations.

Hiljemark chosen by Pisa for new era
The 33-year-old had been identified as the ideal replacement once Gilardino was dismissed, for amassing just one Serie A victory all season, 11 draws and 11 defeats.
Hiljemark must first terminate his contract by mutual consent with Elfsborg, having taken the job in June 2024 and with a deal that runs to December 2027.
Before that, he had a brief experience on the bench of Aalborg BK.
The Swede is no stranger to Italian football, as he played in Serie A for much of his career as a midfielder with Palermo and Genoa from 2015 to 2019.
He hung up his boots at Aalborg in 2021 and immediately went into management as an assistant, then taking charge in March 2023.
