WELCOME INNES CAMERON!

Raith Rovers Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Innes Cameron, who joins on loan from Barrow AFC until the end of the season.

Innes commented, “I’m really looking forward to the opportunity.

I know a lot of the boys already which has helped and everyone has made me feel really welcome today.

I can hopefully chip in with goals and assists to get us into the top four.“

The 25-year-old striker adds further attacking options to the squad, bringing physical presence, experience across the Scottish leagues and a strong work ethic to Stark’s Park.

Innes began his senior career with Kilmarnock, making his First Team debut at just 16 years old and becoming one of the youngest players in the Club’s history. During his time at Rugby Park, he went on to make 80 senior appearances, gaining valuable experience at Premiership level and in European competition.

Innes’ development has been helped by a number of productive loan spells. A standout spell came with Stranraer, where he impressed in League One by scoring ten goals and getting five assists in 30 appearances. Further spells came with Ayr United, Alloa Athletic and Queen of the South.

Standing at 6ft 3in, the centre forward is known for his physicality and willingness to battle defenders. He has also represented Scotland at Under-17 level.

Innes joined Barrow AFC last summer and now makes the move back north for the remainder of the campaign as he looks to make an immediate impact in a Rovers shirt.
