Tottenham make Antonin Kinsky loan decision after talks with West Ham United
A decision has now been made on the future of Tottenham’s Antonin Kinsky, who has managed just 180 minutes of football this season.
Antonin Kinsky has struggled for game time this season for Tottenham Hotspur, with the 22-year-old managing just two starts all campaign.
Thomas Frank, well aware of this, has since admitted that Kinsky is not one hundred per cent happy at Spurs, given his lack of game time.
As a result, the Tottenham number two has attracted interest from several clubs in England and across Europe.
Tottenham transfer update as journalist shares Antonin Kinsky latest
West Ham United have been one of those keen on landing Kinsky this winter window, with a loan deal being discussed.
The idea of a swap deal for Kinsky has also been thrown around for the goalkeeper, who has attracted interest from seven different clubs.
With less than 24 hours to go before the winter window slams shut, Tom Barclay has now shared an update on Kinsky’s transfer situation.
According to the journalist, it is understood that Spurs are reluctant to loan out Antonin Kinsky despite interest from several clubs, including West Ham.
It is believed that the Czech keeper is set to stay put in North London.
Why Spurs need to keep Kinsky in their squad
This is a big boost for Tottenham, as Kinsky is a player with immense potential, given how young he is.
Game time for the rest of the season will, for sure, be hard to come by for the 22-year-old, as Spurs are out of every cup competition except for the Champions League.
Guglielmo Vicario remains Tottenham’s number one at the moment and will obviously play all the minutes left this season in both the league and in Europe.
However, there are talks that Vicario could be heading to Italy in the summer; should that happen, having Kinsky as another option is a big boost.
