Joseph McGrath Joins Stranraer On Loan
Joseph McGrath has joined William Hill League Two side Stranraer on loan until the end of the 2025/26 season.
This is the 18-year-old centre-back’s first loan move away from the Club following impressive performances within our Academy.
After leading our U18s to title success last season, McGrath has since captained the wee Hibees in the UEFA Youth League and featured in our First Team’s matchday squad.
Looking to continue his development, the Scotland U19 international will now join up with the Blues, who currently sit fourth in William Hill League Two.
Hibernian FC Academy Director, Gareth Evans commented: "This represents a great opportunity for Joseph to play regularly at a competitive level in League Two.
"Joseph has been a real leader in our Academy set-up for many years and we are now excited to see how he progresses playing senior football for the first time.
"This loan move will provide Joseph with an opportunity to develop at senior level and we will continue to monitor his development closely."
