New signings for Genoa and Parma
Multiple sources including Sportitalia and Fabrizio Romano confirm Genoa have shaken hands with Portuguese side Alverca for their 20-year-old creative midfielder Amorim.
The Brazilian had been linked with several clubs, including Benfica, Toulouse, Sporting CP and FC Porto, but the Grifone were the most convincing.
This is a €7m package, a huge profit considering he was only signed from Fortaleza in July 2025 for €310,000.
He contributed two goals in 21 competitive appearances for the club.
In other news, Parma have picked up two players who should have their medical tests tomorrow morning.
They are Fiorentina midfielder Nicolussi Caviglia, who interrupted his loan from Venezia to begin a new one with the Ducali.
The other is Franco Carboni, who again broke off his loan from Inter to Empoli, and will continue the season in Serie A at the Stadio Tardini.
