Dan Carr is a Dolphin!

The 25-year-old defender joins us on an 18-month deal having spent a number of years with the Geordies.

He started his career in Buckinghamshire with Aylesbury FC back in 2018, before making the mid-season move to Welwyn Garden City.

He first signed for Hanwell Town in the 2020/21 season and has been at the club ever since bar brief spells away with Bracknell Town, Metropolitan Police and Welling United.

After racking up over 200 appearances for the Geordies, Carr has joined Poole Town on an 18-month contract which will see him remain a Dolphin until the conclusion of the 2026/27 campaign.

On the signing, joint-manager Joe Lea said: “He’s a player that Pat and I have had our eye on for some time and we’re delighted to bring someone of his quality and experience into an already excellent squad.

Vice-Chairman Andy Rossiter commented on his arrival: “Dan is another statement signing for the club, he’s a player who has been on our radar for a very long time and we’re excited to see what he can bring to the squad. I’d also like to thank Hanwell’s chairman for helping facilitate this move.”

Welcome Dan!
