Cheers to reusable pint cups

So how are we doing that? By trialing rigid, reusable plastic cups that you can refill throughout the afternoon.

The new club-branded pint cups will be available from the Spitfire Lounge, priced at just £1.00. It’s yours to keep – take it home or bring it along to future matches.

Our thanks (or should that be cheers?) go to Supreme Lift Services – one of our valued advertisers – who are sponsoring the first batch of club pint cups.

Operations Director Bob Gouldson said: “After the Boxing Day match, there was a shed-load of plastic pint cups, and we decided to try and reduce that in the weeks ahead.

“Supporters who’ve joined us at away games this season will have seen several clubs opting for these rigid pint cups, and from the ones we’ve spoken to, it’s been a success.

“Thanks to the team at Supreme Lift Services for backing this pilot project, and hopefully it’s something we can roll out further during the second half of the season.”
