Napoli fight Lazio for Giovane, Sevilla offer Sanchez for Lucca

While Napoli and Lazio continue to do battle for Verona striker Giovane, Sevilla are reportedly ready to offer Juanlu Sanchez on loan for Lorenzo Lucca.

The Partenopei are under a transfer embargo for the January window, meaning they can only bring in new players if they first sell someone else.

Napoli need new strikers

They are seeking new forwards, especially if Noa Lang heads to Galatasaray, and their first choice for the wide role is Giovane.

However, Lazio had made an approach first for the Brazilian talent, and Verona are in negotiations with both clubs that should continue into next week.

Meanwhile, Napoli also need to find a new club for Lucca, who is stalling over interest from Nottingham Forest and Serie A strugglers Pisa.

Now Sky Sport Italia suggest that Sevilla are also contenders for the Italy international, potentially proposing left-back Juanlu Sanchez in an exchange deal.

These would both be purely loans, though, and therefore less likely to be completed.
