Galatasaray closing in on deal for Napoli forward Noa Lang
Galatasaray are edging closer to an agreement with Napoli for Noa Lang, with the Dutch forward emerging as one of the key pieces in the Partenopei’s January plans.
Napoli are working under strict financial constraints this winter, with any incoming business required to be offset by departures.
As a result, offloading fringe attackers has become a priority, and Lang is now one of the most advanced exit candidates.
Galatasaray close in on Lang deal
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, talks with Galatasaray have intensified in recent days, with confidence growing that a deal can be finalised.
Lang has struggled to fully establish himself in Naples, and both player and club are open to a change of scenery that would allow him to reset and regain continuity.
Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedulla’ maintains the proposal is a €2m loan with option to buy for a further €30m at the end of the season.
Galatasaray see the Dutchman as an ideal profile to add creativity and unpredictability in the final third, while Napoli view the operation as a necessary step to unlock their own transfer strategy.
Once Lang’s departure is completed, Napoli will have room to move on the incoming front, with the club already evaluating several attacking options to reshape the squad.
However, no concrete steps will be taken until the exit is formally sealed, in line with the club’s zero-net-spend approach for January.
