Juventus director scouts Mingueza as Man Utd defender emerges as Plan B
Reports in Italy claim that new Juventus director Marco Ottolini scouted Oscar Mingueza during Sevilla-Celta Vigo on Monday, while Manchester United’s Noussair Mazraoui is the Bianconeri’s alternative on the right flank.
Juventus are considering signing a reinforcement on the right wing, and according to Sky Sport Italia, the Bianconeri director Ottolini travelled to Spain on Monday to watch Mingueza in action.
Juventus scout Mingueza
Fabrizio Romano already reported the Old Lady’s interest in the versatile Spanish full-back whose contract expires in June 2026.
Juventus would still try to sign the 26-year-old in the January transfer window, but must reach an agreement with his club, Celta Vigo, for a transfer this month.
Juventus still interested in Mazraoui
Sky Sport Italia also confirms Juventus’ interest in Mazraoui, which already emerged from other media in previous days. According to this latest report, the Morocco international is seen as an alternative to their main target, Mingueza.
Juventus have collected 10 wins in 15 matches under Luciano Spalletti and currently sit third in the Serie A table.
