Fat Buddha OBEThere is a lotto said for wholehearted selfless effort. Stansfield gives us that every game and he provides it with no little skill or intelligence.
He often lifts the mood of the crowd with his hard running and dynamism, which in turn lifts the team. He is very good at relieving pressure when we are under the cosh
And those are the traits he exhibited against Coventry and made his performance stand out.
Very long winded way of saying he run loads, the fans love him but he isn’t great with the actual football. To think that makes his performance stand out is hilarious.
If we want to get play offs or better we need more players like Robert’s and Gray who can do both.
