Key info: Brentwood Town
The Stones travel to Brentwood Town this Saturday for a mid-season friendly.
Weston-super-Mare, who were originally scheduled to visit the Gallagher, are instead in Emirates FA Cup action, facing Grimsby Town away in the third round.
Following last week’s postponement of the Chelmsford fixture, George Elokobi and Craig Fagan were pleased to accept Brentwood’s invitation for a friendly, ensuring the squad maintains match fitness.
Brentwood currently sit second in the Isthmian Premier Division, 11 points behind leaders Folkestone Invicta, with both sides having played 25 games.
Last season, Town were crowned Isthmian North champions, finishing four points clear of Felixstowe & Walton United and Bury Town in second and third respectively.
Saturday’s friendly could be the first opportunity for Stones fans to see Muhammadu Faal following his return to the club earlier this week.
