Galatasaray are willing to give £30m Tottenham youngster some much-needed minutes
Tottenham Hotspur have now finalised a decision on one of their young starlets, and Galatasaray are ready to act.
Spurs have already let Brennan Johnson leave the club this window, and the decision may have cost them against Sunderland, with Thomas Frank being short of attackers on the bench.
It is now being suggested that another of Tottenham’s attackers, who started on Sunday, could also head out the door.
Over recent weeks, we have heard that Mathys Tel is attracting interest from Serie A and just a few days ago, Alasdair Gold revealed that Spurs may be open to loaning out Tel.
Tottenham make Mathys Tel decision amidst impending offer
It has now been reported by Yeni Akit that even though Frank has utilised Tel over recent weeks, the forward is not satisfied with his game time in North London.
The 20-year-old wants to leave the club this month, and Spurs have agreed to send him out on loan.
The North London club will evaluate loan offers for the France U21 international, and Galatasaray are expected to send a bid to the Premier League side.
The outlet claims that the Istanbul club view the former Bayern Munich’s versatility and will look to complete the deal as long as there are ‘reasonable conditions’ to do so.
Will Spurs change their mind about Tel after his performance against Sunderland?
The 20-year-old was handed his first start since October on Sunday, and he looked very bright in the first half whenever he got on the ball.
Thomas Frank singled out Tel’s performance as one of the big positives in his post-match press conference.
Given the struggles of many of Tottenham’s attackers right now, Frank may not want to let the youngster leave, especially given that Mohammed Kudus is now injured.
