Amazon Scammers (21 replies)
I'm expecting a package today. About 3:00 today I get a phone call form a UK mobile 07400 703167 claiming to be the driver. He said I need to confirm a OTP with him so he can deliver the package. While he's on the phone I get a text from Amazon with a OTP. He asks me to confirm it. I'm asking why and tell him to just deliver it, told him I was getting pissed off with him etc and hung up. Straight away he phones again saying I need to confirm a new OTP or my account will be locked. I confirm the OTP which has come through as a text.
Being suspicious I tried to log into my Amazon account and low and behold I can't get in but my email has changed to debkend1@outlook.com
I call Amazon, get asked all sorts of questions and now my account is locked. I've moved all money from my associated accounts and changed passwords on my emails.
What more can I do apart from not using Amazon again?
Package still hasn't arrived.
