Juventus want three January reinforcements including Chiesa and Real Madrid starlet
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are determined to bring in three reinforcements in the January transfer window and have set their sights on their ex-winger Federico Chiesa and Real Madrid starlet Gonzalo Garcia.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Juventus want to give Luciano Spalletti three new players in the winter transfer window.
Juventus’ priority in the January transfer window
The Bianconeri’s priority is to strengthen the team in central midfield, but recent meetings between Spalletti and club directors have highlighted the coach’s need to get reinforcements in other areas of the pitch as well.
West Ham midfielder Guido Rodriguez is a target in central midfield, while Genoa’s Brooke Norton-Cuffy is a player Juventus have scouted for the right wing. The Englishman would cost at least €20m, but with Mattia Perin eager to return to Genoa, the two clubs could discuss a player-plus-cash swap deal.
Juventus consider Chiesa’s return from Liverpool
As for the attack, Juventus are considering the return of Federico Chiesa on loan from Liverpool, but other targets include Simon Adingra (Sunderland), Kevin Schade and Mikkel Damsgaard (Brentford) and Gonzalo Garcia of Real Madrid.
Chiesa’s possible return would be on loan with an option to buy, whereas the other targets would likely require an obligation to purchase. Sky Sport confirms the Bianconeri are interested in Gonzalo Garcia.
