I disagree with the premise of this thread.
I remember going to the game a year ago when it was a boring 0-0 draw against Blackpool. But we had conceeded just 1 goal in the last 7 league games and were top of the league with multiple games in hand and it was clear the other teams were not going to sustain the ~2.3pts per game. I was pretty certain we were getting promoted.
We were already being talked about being a Championship ready team in League One. So honestly, to be 15th and winless in 5 is not where I wanted us to be.
We have 3 very tough games coming up. Three in form teams. Watford have only lost 1 out of the last 11, which was us at home. If we go L-D-L in the next 3 we're going into the FA Cup break in 18th place minimum. This would be a disaster. Three absolutely massive games now.
