A little bit of nothing
Morning everyone.
I hope you had a lovely day yesterday, whether you do Christmas or not. I ate well, and I think I might just have had a thimble-full of wine too much (*boilk*). There’s also nothing going on today either in terms of news, so this is probably gonna be another day off in terms of blogging.
Not only is there nothing going on, there’s also barely any Premier League football on today, with just one game and Manchester United v Newcastle doesn’t kick off until 8pm. That’s a long time to wait to see them hopefully kick lumps out of each other in a game replete with hilariously bad defending and a plethora of red cards.
So, I will probably just watch the end of Dead Poet’s Society which was the third movie of Christmas Day after Home Alone and Waiting for Guffman. I was too tired to watch it all the way through, but just as I was going to bed, I saw Jaws was on BBC2 so I stayed up to watch the last half an hour of that.
Spoiler alert – it does not end well for the shark. Or Quint. I also have to make room for Christmas Dinner II – the best sequel of them all. It’s a lot better than Jaws 3D, that’s for sure. Which I won’t be watching.
A little later though, we’ll look ahead to our game against Brighton with a preview podcast on Patreon, but because it’s the time of year for giving, we’ll make it available to everyone for free. I wouldn’t want you to go without.
For now though, here’s something about Declan Rice to read, and I’ll be back tomorrow when normal service will resume. Until then, have a good one.
