Jeffers joins on loan

Jeffers makes a lateral switch from Enterprise National League North side Bedford Town, to the Saunders Transport Community Stadium ahead of this weekend’s set of fixtures.

Shaun has been on Boro’s radar for some time and was named in the National League South Team of the Season 2023/24 whilst at St Albans City.

Manager Spencer Day explained the new arrival:

“I’m delighted to welcome Shaun to Boro after chasing him for best part of five years to wear the Boro shirt!”

“With our attacking injuries we desperately needed cover short-term and the agreement fits everyone.

“Thanks to Lee and everyone at Bedford and Shaun’s management for getting it done. Massive thanks to the Directors for allowing the addition budget-wise at this vital time.”

Jeffers has been allocated shirt number 17.
