Lazio 1-1 Bologna – Player Ratings
Lazio: Provedel 6.5; Marusic 6, Gila 5, Romagnoli 6, Tavares 4.5 (Lazzari 6); Guendouzi 6.5, Cataldi 6, Basic 6.5; Isaksen 7 (Cancellieri 6), Castellanos 5.5 (Noslin 6), Zaccagni 6.5
Best Lazio player: Isaksen – Lazio’s goalscorer was impressive before unfortunately having to come off injured. Whilst it’s true that sometimes Biancocelesti attacks end with him, it is more often than not due to his willingness to try something.
Lowest Lazio rating: Tavares – Had a diabolical half of football. Was completely to blame for Bologna’s equaliser and was booked previously for a very clumsy challenge. Even a red card for Mario Gila did not see him rate lower than Tavares.
Coach: Sarri 7 – Coming up against one of the league’s in-form teams was never going to be easy for the Lazio coach but his faith in the likes of Basic and Isaksen continues to bear fruit. Had to show his adaptation in the final ten minutes after Gila’s red.
Bologna: Ravaglia 7.5; Zortea 6.5, Heggem 5.5, Casale 5.5 (De Silvestri 6.5), Miranda 6.5; Moro 6 (Ferguson 6), Pobega 6.5, Orsolini 6 (Bernardeschi 5.5), Odgaard 7; Cambiaghi 5.5 (Rowe 6), Castro 5.5
Best Bologna player: Ravaglia – The Bologna goalkeeper was called into action on a number of occasions and made some important saves in the second half to deny Lazio from stealing a winner. Made 8 saves and helped dig in when the hosts were all over Bologna.
Lowest Bologna rating: Cambiaghi – Largely ineffectual during little over an hour on the pitch, struggled in the final third and was outmuscled far too easily.
Coach: Italiano 7 – Only fair to match the Bologna coach with his Lazio counterpart. After an even first half, had to encourage his side to weather the storm in the second half before Gila’s red. Was unable to make the changes needed to capitalise on the man advantage.
