Zaniolo reborn at Udinese as former Roma prodigy looks a bargain
Nicolò Zaniolo’s positive run at Udinese continues.
His goal against Parma was his fourth of the season: an important result at this point in the campaign and confirming that the former Roma and Galatasaray player has now found his best form.
He is poised to become an increasingly prominent figure as he plays more and more minutes for the Udine side.
Udinese belief in Zaniolo pays off
Udinese were the only Italian club to believe in him last summer, otherwise they wouldn’t have paid €3 million for the loan.
There are no strings attached to the agreement with Galatasaray. Therefore, the Friulians have the option to exercise the right to buy, either by paying €9 million directly or by roughly halving the sum, including bonuses, but guaranteeing the Turkish club a 50 percent interest in any future sale.
With such attractive terms, the buyout is sure to be triggered, especially if Zaniolo continues on this relatively smooth, successful, and decisive path with Udinese.
