Patriots’ Drake Maye Opens Up About What He’s Thankful For Before Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is on Thursday, and New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye has plenty to be thankful for this year.

When reporters asked Maye what he was thankful for on Wednesday, he highlighted his appreciation for his teammates, coaches and fans.

“Thankful for the fanbase…(thankful to) play with these guys, these teammates. It’s been fun,” Maye said, via Patriots on CLNS.

While Maye is thankful for the Patriots’ fans, the fans have to be grateful for him.

Maye is playing like one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, throwing for 3,130 yards and 21 touchdowns to six interceptions. However, the most crucial thing Maye is doing is leading New England to wins.

The Patriots are currently riding a nine-game winning streak and boast the best record in the NFL at 10-2. If the season were to end today, New England would secure a first-round bye in the playoffs and enjoy home-field advantage in the AFC.

Maye has gotten the Patriots back to their winning ways, like Tom Brady did for over two decades, and now it’s time to see if Maye can have postseason success like Brady.
