Fresh reports have now linked Tottenham with a move for a familiar name, with Marcus Rashford understood to be on the radar of Spurs.
According to El Nacional, Tottenham are believed to have reached out to Marcus Rashford, with the Manchester United forward exploring options away from Barcelona.
It is claimed that Spurs have made contact with Rashford’s agent to explore a potential deal to bring him to north London.
The Manchester United man has enjoyed his start to life in Barcelona, scoring six goals and assisting nine in sixteen appearances so far, which is more than any of Tottenham’s number nine.
Spurs face competition from Premier League club to sign Rashford
It is claimed that Barcelona are unsure whether it is worth paying the £26.2 million buy option for Rashford next summer.
The Spanish outfit are instead looking to replace Robert Lewandowski, which has led Rashford to explore his options.
Spurs are not the only ones interested in the 28-year-old, with Chelsea also in the mix, and they have also made contact with the forward.
Tottenham were in the running for Rashford during the summer, but nothing came from it, making this latest report all the more interesting.
