Video: Liverpool react to Chiesa’s skill with Italian word
Federico Chiesa made a substitute appearance in Liverpool’s 1-0 win over Real Madrid on Tuesday, and a piece of skill from the Italy international was shared by the Reds on X social media: ‘Bellissimo.’
Even if Chiesa was only introduced at minute 88 in Liverpool’s 1-0 win over Real Madrid on Tuesday, he had enough time to show his quality on the ball.
Liverpool delighted by Chiesa’s ability on the ball
The Reds shared on X social media a delightful move from the Italian, who controlled the ball received from a throw-in, juggled it and passed it to Mohamed Salah behind him with the outside of his foot.
Liverpool captioned the video with just a word, ‘Bellissimo’ and an Italian flag.
Chiesa was introduced in Liverpool’s Champions League squad in October to replace the injured Giovanni Leoni.
Chiesa was named as the Liverpool Player of the Month for September despite making mostly substitute appearances.
The 28-year-old has two goals and three assists in 11 appearances across all competitions this season.
