Queen's park Superfan Lands Euan Murray's Captain's Armband

EUAN MURRAY’S captain’s armband presentation has lit up the end of every game at The city Stadium this season.

Even in defeat, there’s always a smile raised.

The skipper, or deputy Charlie Fox, has gifted the match-worn memorabilia to a young fan at full-time of each fixture – a growing tradition as the Spiders are cheered from the field at the end of each game.

Bearing the logo of the Queen’s Park Supporters’ Association, who sponsor the armband, the collectable keepsake is something to remember from the season.

For Thomas Hudson, it is a reminder of the draw with Airdrieonians. The ball-boy and community footballer added the memento to his growing clutch of Spiders memorabilia after being picked from the crowd by Euan.

Thomas (14) attends Stonelaw High School and is also a season-ticket holder at The city Stadium. A QP superfan, he has had a seat across the Spiders’ various venues and seasons since his first game in 2016 and attends games with his dad, Alan, and sister – who has her fingers crossed for a similar gift from Euan Murray at a future game.

Congratulations Thomas!

To be in with a chance of landing the captain’s armband at our next home match against Raith Rovers, make sure you’re cheering the team all the way to the full-time whistle and perhaps Euan or Charlie will pick you for the special giveaway.
