Tom Brady Bumps Up Patriots In His Latest NFL Power Rankings
Tom Brady is becoming increasingly impressed with the New England Patriots.
The legendary quarterback placed his former team 10th in both his Week 6 and Week 7 power rankings. However, following the Patriots’ road win over the Tennessee Titans last Sunday, Brady moved New England up to eighth for his Week 8 rankings, which he revealed in a FOX Sports video posted on Tuesday.
Brady only provided commentary for teams in the top five, so we still don’t have a true sense for how he really feels about the Patriots.
Take a look:
New England won its last four games, largely thanks to the stellar play of quarterback Drake Maye. The second-year pro ranks at or near the top of most statistical categories, including first in EPA per play and second in passer rating.
Maye will look to lead the Patriots to their fifth straight win this Sunday when they host the Cleveland Browns. They’ll follow up the Week 8 matchup with games against the Atlanta Falcons, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New York Jets.
Sunday’s game at Gillette Stadium is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. ET.
