Patriots’ Will Campbell Looks To Extend Impressive Streak Against Titans

New England Patriots left tackle Will Campbell has emerged as a standout rookie performer through six weeks of the NFL season. Drafted fourth overall out of LSU in the 2025 NFL Draft, Campbell has quickly adapted to professional play, allowing just one sack so far in six games.

Now, as the Patriots prepare to face the Tennessee Titans in Week 7, Campbell aims to continue his remarkable run of sack-free games since Week 1.

Should the NFL have seen this coming from Campbell? As a dominant force at LSU, he started all 38 college games, surrendering only five sacks over his career there.

His transition to the NFL has been tremendous, with Pro Football Focus grading him among the top rookie tackles. In Week 1 against a tough opponent, he gave up his lone sack of the season, but since then, he has stonewalled pass rushers across five games, allowing just two hits and a total of 13 pressures. Fans and analysts alike have praised Campbell’s footwork, strength, and quick decision-making.

The Week 7 clash with the Titans will be another test for Campbell. Tennessee’s defense, while inconsistent this season, will be looking to put pressure on Drake Maye and disrupt his rhythm.

For Campbell, extending this streak and putting in yet another solid performance would only solidify his status as a cornerstone for the Patriots’ rebuild, which has zoomed ahead to New England being playoff contenders and leading the AFC East at the moment.

For Campbell, preparation has paid off. Teammates have noted his work ethic in practice, where he consistently neutralizes pressures, even in simulated high-intensity drills. The Pats definitely got a good one in Campbell, and hopefully, he can stay healthy and continue providing Maye with adequate protection.
