Its telling about the apathy toward the national side that there was not a single post made here during the 5-0 win at Latvia. Wales and NI at least managed a passing mention.

International football bores me to be honest. Especially so when it disrupts the domestic season and included in the break is a completely meaningless friendly. I know last night's game was a WC qualifiers, but was there really any point at all in them playing Wales the other day? Completely pointless. In any case, the group that England are in is not exactly competitive. There's not a single team in that group that England should be in any way concerned about beating convincingly. That makes it even more boring, listening to pundits wanking themselves silly over an "amazing England performance" against poor opposition.
