Official: Ancelotti calls two Serie A players for Brazil friendlies
Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti has called up Roma and Inter defenders Wesley and Carlos Augusto for friendly encounters against South Korea and Japan.
Wesley (Roma) and Carlos Augusto (Inter) are the only Serie A players included in the Brazil squad for international friendlies this month.
The Seleção have already qualified for the 2026 World Cup and will meet South Korea on Friday, 10, and Japan on Tuesday, 14, later this month.
Brazil appointed Ancelotti in May, and the Italian tactician has collected two wins, one draw and one loss in his first four games in charge.
