Juventus, Milan and Napoli learn Coppa Italia Ro16 opponents
Juventus, Milan, Lazio and Napoli now know which teams they will face in the Coppa Italia round of 16 after the conclusion of Tuesday evening’s second round fixtures.
Milan picked up a comfortable 3-0 win over Lecce in their Coppa Italia second round clash on Tuesday night. Cagliari, meanwhile, beat Serie A opponents Frosinone 4-1, while Udinese inflicted a 2-1 defeat upon Palermo.
There will still be another five Coppa Italia fixtures before the second round is complete. Parma-Spezia, Verona-Venezia and Como-Sassuolo will all be played on Wednesday evening, while Genoa-Empoli and Torino-Pisa will take place on Thursday.
The Round of 16 is scheduled to begin in the midweek slot on December 3.
Who will Milan, Juventus and Napoli play in Coppa Italia third round?
As a result of their 3-0 win over Lecce, Milan have booked a date with Lazio in the Coppa Italia round of 16. Given that the Biancocelesti finished higher than the Rossoneri last season, this fixture will take place at the Stadio Olimpico, rather than San Siro.
Udinese, after their 2-1 win over Palermo, will now have to take on Juventus at the Allianz Stadium at the beginning of September.
Cagliari, meanwhile, will be tasked with a tough test away against Antonio Conte and his reigning Serie A champions, Napoli.
