Roman Anthony, Marcelo Mayer Spotted With Rap Legend At Patriots Game
The stars were out at Gillette Stadium on Sunday, with a special guest list that included a Patriots Hall of Famer, a music icon, the face of the Boston Celtics, and a pair of young Red Sox stars.
Roman Anthony, Marcelo Mayer and Jayson Tatum all were spotted on the field ahead of New England’s Week 3 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. In fact, Patriots social media staffer Alexandra Francisco captured a photo of Anthony and Mayer next to rap legend Jay-Z, a frequent guest in Robert Kraft’s luxury box.

It’s unclear whether the stars were there for just the game or for the halftime speech from Julian Edelman, who was inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame over the weekend. Regardless, the day ended on a sour note, as New England suffered an embarrassing 21-14 loss to the Steelers.
As for Mayer and Anthony, the former is out for the season due to a wrist injury while the latter is working his way back from an oblique strain — and hoping the Red Sox hold onto a playoff spot without him.
