Decisive week for Inter & Milan San Siro project – the details
We are now entering a seven days that will prove decisive in the future of San Siro, with reports from Italy revealing Milan City Council are set to meet and vote on the approval of the sale of the stadium grounds and surrounding land to Milan and Inter.
After the Giunta met and approved the resolution last week, it will now be passed on to the city council.
According to the council’s official website, via MilanNews, council president Elena Buscemi has called for two meetings in the next week to discuss the sale of San Siro.
Milan City Council set to vote on San Siro sale
On Thursday, September 25, the council will meet at the chamber of Palazzo Marino, to go over all the details surrounding the Serie A clubs’ plan for the stadium.
Then, the following Monday, September 29, there will be a vote amongst the council.
The vote will be to find out whether or not the city council will approve the sale of San Siro and the surrounding land to the two clubs.
