Changes in fanbase since Knighthead (27 replies)

Can’t help but notice the changes in our fanbase since the takeover.
There’s a decent size of it now where KH support is almost cultish and any sort of criticism is shut down straight away. I get they are brilliant owners since the last lot but even Gold, Sullivan and Brady weren’t given this treatment when they established us in the prem.
The atmosphere at games is a bit shit. Around me there are fans who film KRO every week but don’t know the words.
There is an entitlement of fans on matchday - frankly witness dickhead behaviour every game in fanzone/concourses that I rarely saw before.
Players and managers are seen as throwaway items just because we now have some money.
On the flip side, it is nice to see packed home games and a legitimate struggle for tickets. It’s also nice to see fans enjoying the pre match stuff. Matchday experience has never been this good for food and drink etc.
It’s also nice to see more blues kits and merch out and about around the city than ever before.
We are growing and these are realistically changes that come with attracting new fans/converting disgruntled fans.
Am I being fair? Am I being a miserable dickhead?
