I’m expecting them to start slow like they have this season and last season even when we played them. They’re too arrogant to be really fired up for it but I think they may show some nerves early in the game and be sloppy.

I’d go:

Pickford
JOB Tark Keane Mykolenko
Röhl Garner Tim
Ndiaye Barry Grealish

Tim in the 10, Röhl box-to-box, Garner as the screen when required.

Imo this team is the best passing and pressing line-up and the plan should be to move the ball as quickly as possible. KDH is a bit weak in the physical battle so is best coming on late to change the game by putting them on the back foot. Gana is great to bring on if we’re leading or for his experience and leadership if we need to come back into it, but is not great technically. Beto can come on later in the game to rough up the CB’s and just generally be a nuisance. Dibling for 10 mins at the end for whoever is the most tired out of the wingers.

The temptation is to start with Röhl and Tim on the bench but I reckon they’ll feature anyway so what’s the difference.

I doubt we’ll see this from Moyes but I think we should just go without fear and put faith in Tim, Barry, and Röhl.
