Four Man United wonderkids join training ahead of Derby, one tipped for shock call-up by Amorim

0 4

Manchester United are set to clash with arch-rivals Manchester City in the Premier League tomorrow.

United trained at Carrington before their trip to the Etihad Stadium.

Four United academy starlets were involved in the first-team training session, getting valuable experience under head coach Ruben Amorim.

According to journalist Nathan Salt, Shea Lacey, Jack Fletcher, Tyler Fletcher and Jim Thwaites were among the players who trained on Friday.

Salt even suggested that Jack Fletcher could be rewarded with a place on the bench for the Manchester Derby.

United have a rich history of producing and nurturing young talent.

Many academy stars have gone on to establish successful careers.

Like his predecessors, Amorim also has the responsibility to show faith in the prestigious academy.

Among the fresh faces are the Fletcher brothers, sons of United legend Darren Fletcher.

Both are gifted midfielders with the talent to follow in their father’s footsteps.

Jack appears slightly ahead in his development when compared to Tyler, edging closer to a first-team breakthrough.

Shea Lacey is one of the brightest prospects at the academy.

His journey has been blighted by injuries, yet his ceiling remains sky-high.

Even though he has operated more as a right winger, Lacey could be a perfect number 10 in the future.

His movement between the lines and eye for a killer pass mark him out as a future playmaker.

Jim Thwaites is a technically gifted midfielder already showing leadership qualities at Under-18 level.

If he stays focused and avoids injury setbacks, Thwaites could grow into a valuable addition to United’s senior squad.
