Howden 50-50 Draw Update vs Morton

QUEEN’S PARK shared the grief of the Scottish football community following the death of Greenock Morton manager Dougie Imrie’s baby daughter Remi last month.

Dougie is well-known to the Spiders as a frequent visitor to Queen’s Park matches over recent seasons, and as a former colleague to several members of staff at the club, as well as an opponent.

Remi was born 14 weeks early, weighing just 1lb 4oz, and spent 20 days in Wishaw General Hospital until her untimely passing on August 19.

Since then, dad Dougie and mum Lauren have been fundraising for the neonatal unit and the staff who provided such valuable care for the family and little Remi.

This weekend, for the William Hill Championship visit of Morton, Queen’s Park FC will add the club’s share of the half-time 50-50 draw to support the family’s incredible fundraising effort which has already exceeded £12,000 in Remi’s memory.

Supporters are encouraged to purchase a ticket from our sellers who will be available around The city Stadium on matchday until the start of the second half, wearing hoodies branded with our Howden 50-50 logo.

As usual, the winning ticket number will be announced to the crowd on the 67th minute.

Fans who wish to donate direct, cannot make the match, or wish to read more on Lauren and Dougie’s fundraising, can do so here.
