Former Palermo President Baccaglini dies at 41
Former Palermo President Paul Baccaglini, 41, has been found dead at his home in Milan, with Italian authorities not ruling out the possibility of suicide.
Italian sources, including Sky TG 24, report that ex-Palermo President Baccaglini has died at 41.
According to reports, Baccaglini’s body was found in his home by his partner on Tuesday, September 9.
Reports indicate that authorities suspect he may have taken his own life.
Born in the United States to an American father and an Italian mother, Baccaglini was also known for his experience in the Italian satirical show ‘Le Iene’.
After his stint in the Italian show business, Baccaglini transitioned to a career in finance, working as a trader and briefly serving as Palermo President in 2017.
Baccaglini, in fact, was supposed to buy a majority stake in the Rosanero alongside an investment fund at the end of the 2016-17 campaign, but the closing never materialised.
