Football Italia exclusively reported the start of negotiations between the two clubs on Friday, August 22, and Pedullà now reports on Caught Offside that an agreement has been reached between Fiorentina and Brighton.

The Ghana international is set to complete a €6m transfer plus add-ons and sign a four-year contract.
Fiorentina and Brighton shook hands last night, and the player is now set to travel to Italy to undergo medical tests.
Lamptey made 15 Premier League appearances last season, scoring two goals and providing two assists.
Lamptey to become Dodo backup at Fiorentina
A product of Larkspur Rovers and Chelsea Academies, Lamptey joined Brighton from the Blues in 2020 for circa €1m.
Lamptey is expected to become a backup to starting right wing-back Dodo, although the 24-year-old Ghana international can also be deployed on the left flank.
