Milan intensify Chiesa talks after Italian scores for Liverpool
Milan remain interested in Federico Chiesa, reports from Italy claim, with the Rossoneri in contact with the player’s agents.
According to what has been reported by MilanNews24, Milan are making a late push to make the Liverpool forward the ‘cherry on top’ in this summer’s transfer market, whilst the club still search for a back-up striker.
The Rossoneri have been strongly linked with a move for Manchester United forward Rasmus Hojlund, and Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic. However, nothing concrete has been proposed yet.
Chiesa scores for Liverpool as Allegri eyes reunion at Milan
Federico Chiesa scored yesterday in Liverpool’s 4-2 opening day victory against Bournemouth in the Premier League. After sitting on the fringes last season, the Italian was delighted to be able to make his mark and dedicated his goal to Diogo Jota.
Now, Chiesa’s former coach Massimiliano Allegri is considering a reunion for the two in Lombardy. After having worked together at Juventus, Allegri is familiar with the player and if a deal is feasible, the winger could still move to Milan this summer.
