Exclusive: Toure targeted by PSV Eindhoven after Atalanta problems
PSV Eindhoven are pushing to sign El Bilal Touré from Atalanta, hoping to get it over the line amid competition from Feyenoord and teams from the Turkish Super Lig.
There had already been some negotiations, but we can now confirm that PSV Eindhoven are intensifying those talks and hope to make it a permanent transfer.
El Bilal Touré failed to spark with Atalanta
He spent last season on loan with Vfb Stuttgart, where he scored three goals and provided one assist in 17 competitive appearances.
That is curiously also his tally in the Atalanta jersey, not a great return for the €30m investment made when signing him from UD Almeria in the summer of 2023.
A lot of that is down to his fitness record, as the Mali international had numerous injury issues including a fractured metatarsal and torn tendon in his thigh.
Feyenoord and some teams from Turkey are also keeping a close eye on the situation, but PSV Eindhoven seem determined to secure the 23-year-old centre-forward.
