Fabrizio Romano: Man Utd star now agrees personal terms with another PL club

0 23

Manchester United attacker Alejandro Garnacho has agreed to every detail of personal terms with Chelsea ahead of a potential departure from the Old Trafford club, according to Italian journalist and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The Argentine is not in the plans of Red Devils head coach Ruben Amorim and was not included in the pre-season tour of the United States last month.

Garnacho has been told to leave Man United and he wants to remain in the Premier League, with a move to Chelsea appealing to him after they secured a place in the league phase of the Champions League next term and won the Club World Cup..

He has now agreed to join the Blues and talks over a fee with Man United will now follow.

The club have lowered his asking price to £50 million having demanded more than £60m from the likes of Napoli during the January transfer window.

Chelsea are still hoping for a lesser fee and Man United could be forced to do business below £50m as they need to sell their out-of-favour players as soon as possible.

Tyrell Malacia, Antony and Jadon Sancho are also expected to follow Marcus Rashford out as the clearout at the Theatre of Dreams continues, and Rasmus Hojlund could also be off after a deal to sign RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko as his replacement was sealed yesterday.

AC Milan are keen on signing the Denmark international on loan with an option to buy, but it appears he fancies his chances of challenging the Slovenian for a place in the line-up going by his reaction to the news of the impending move yesterday.

Getting Hojlund, Garnacho, Malacia, Antony and Sancho out of the club will be great for the finances of Man United as they look to balance the books, which could pave the way in their attempt to sign Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Carlos Baleba.
