Official: Roma loan Abdulhamid to Lens with option to buy
Roma have officially sent Saud Abdulhamid to RC Lens on loan with an option to buy for a reported fee of €2-3m.
The 26-year-old right-back was presented by his new club with a video inspired by The Simpsons.

He had only joined Roma a year ago from Al-Hilal for €2.5m, but struggled to get regular playing time at the Stadio Olimpico.
In one full season, he made just eight competitive appearances, nonetheless managing to score one goal and provide one assist.
Saud Abdulhamid leaves Roma for Lens
According to reports in France, the transfer is a loan with option to buy at the end of the season.
The option is believed to be worth circa €2-3m.
Roma had been in advanced negotiations to send Abdulhamid to Toulouse FC instead, but they could not make the squad work with non-EU slots.
He became the first ever Saudi Arabian player to feature in Serie A.
