Josh Keeley is convinced that Irish sensation Mason Melia will prove a hit at Tottenham Hotspur and is excited to see the youngster link up with the North London club in January.
Spurs signed Mason Melia from St Patrick’s Athletic for £1.6m plus add-ons back in February, which is a record transfer fee for a player signed from the League of Ireland.
Despite being just 17 years old, the centre-forward has been playing week-in, week-out for the Irish club for the last two seasons, and he will link up with the Tottenham squad in January after he turns 18.
The striker has already played 80 senior matches, managing 23 goal involvements, and Melia has also made his mark in Europe, showcasing that he can perform at the top level.

The goalkeeper, who left Tottenham to join Luton earlier this month, said about Melia’s impending arrival at Spurs (via Football.London): “I mean, he is a young lad, who has played a lot of senior games at the minute, and he is playing constantly for St Pats.
“I think him coming over, signing for Spurs and getting to know all the boys is only going to help him progress. He is going to do very, very well.”

It has been reported by Football.London, Spurs have put Melia in a tailored conditioning programme ahead of his switch to N17 in January.
The programme has been designed to ensure that the teenager is better equipped to handle the pace, physicality and intensity of the Premier League.
