Man Utd quartet now exiled from first-team dressing room - Insider
Manchester United have told Tyrell Malacia, Antony, Jadon Sancho, and Alejandro Garnacho to leave the first-team dressing room and prepare to move to the under-21s dressing room for the rest of the summer, according to United insider Sully.
The Red Devils quartet are not in the plans of Red Devils head coach Ruben Amorim and were left behind at Carrington as other members of the squad jetted out for the pre-season tour.
Malacia, Antony, Sancho and Garnacho were already banned from coming to training whenever the Portuguese and other players were around, and they had to wait till others left before entering into the training facilities.
The four outcasts have been using the first-team facilities since other Man United stars left on tour, but they will vacate the facilities and move to the under-21s dressing room when Amorim and his men return next month.
Marcus Rashford was part of the banned group but has since joined Barcelona on a season-long loan, with the La Liga club covering his full wages after he accepted a 25% pay cut.
His temporary exit has saved United about £14 million, and there is an option to buy him for £30.3m included in the deal.
The others will all hope to secure exits too in the final four weeks of the transfer window, and it is unknown whether a possible reintegration back with the team is on the cards should one or two of them remain at the Old Trafford club beyond the summer transfer deadline.
Amorim could refuse to welcome them back given his resolve not to have any of them around his squad, and it will be intriguing to see what happens in the coming weeks.
Chelsea want Garnacho and the Argentine also wants to remain in the Premier League and feature for a team playing in the Champions League.
Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha and some of the other senior Man United stars reportedly believe Antony is perfect for the style of play Amorim deploys, but it appears the Brazilian wants out after impressing with Real Betis on loan in the second-half of last term.
