The Last Laugh
Took a last minute decision to head to the Alex with my lad last night and was really surprised how much we both enjoyed this. A play about the late Tommy Cooper, Eric Morcambe and Bob Monkhouse sharing a dressing room before a gig and swopping jokes, taking the pi55., etc. Followed by a Q&A with the actors.
Obviously not everyone's cup of tea, but plenty of tickets left for today's matinee and evening shows if you're interested.
Just putting it out there as there are plenty of tickets left and it'd be a shame to have such a talented ensemble performing in front of a half full theatre. Could do a lot worse if you've got a couple of hours spare today.
